The Billing Clerk is responsible for collecting outstanding accounts receivable from customers. The ideal candidate will have strong communication and customer service skills, as well as experience in the collections industry. Duties:

  • Preparing and mailing invoices to customers
  • Posting payments to customer accounts
  • Organizing and filing deposit receipts as invoices are paid
  • Preparing reports on delinquent accounts and customer payment profiles
  • Reconciling cash receipts and deposits
  • Analyzing financial records for accuracy

Requirements:

  • Must possess 1-5 years of work experience in AR or Accounting role
  • Proven knowledge in Microsoft Office, QuickBooks and Excel
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and priorities at one time and consistently achieve results on a timely basis
  • Bachelor's Degree (finance or accounting related degree a plus)
