Position Overview:
Our client is looking for an expert in Oracle Cloud services and E-Business Suite, with strong skills in system management, database performance tuning, and scripting for automation. Responsible for managing and optimizing Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), developing maintenance strategies, implementing security policies, and ensuring high availability and compliance through routine audits and assessments.

Duties:
  • Strong understanding of Oracle Cloud services, including compute, storage, networking, and database services. 
  • Manage the system management resources.
  • Proficiency in Oracle E-Business Suite architecture, installation, configuration, and maintenance.
  • Act as a system management expert.
  • Experience with database management, including performance tuning, backup and recovery, and security.
  • Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Shell, Python) for automation and management tasks.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
  • Create the strategy for maintaining technical infrastructure.
  • Analyze, identify, and document system management requirements and implement them accordingly.
  • Manages a large site or network. Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Management
  • Design, implement, and manage Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) services.
  • Monitor and optimize cloud resources to ensure high availability, performance, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Implement and manage cloud security policies, including identity and access management (IAM), network security, and data protection.
  • Conduct regular audits and assessments of cloud environments to ensure they comply with industry standards and company policies.
Required Skills:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems/Technology, or a related field
  • Hold a Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) or Oracle Cloud Infrastructure certification for a minimum of 6 years.
  • 6 years of experience with other cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) is a plus.
Preferred Skills:
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools, such as CI/CD pipelines, Ansible, Terraform, etc.
  • Experience with disaster recovery planning and implementation.
