Position Overview

Insight Global is in search of a Systems Administrator who will collaborate closely with the Linux, Unix, and AIX teams within a prestigious Fortune 250 organization. This role is part of a streamlined team of five members, dedicated to delivering global IT enterprise capabilities across multiple data centers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide level 1 and 2 support for critical Linux and Enterprise Storage system challenges until resolution.
  • Perform system updates, troubleshooting, and progressively take on server construction tasks.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in Linux administration.
  • Proficient in supporting Red Hat environments.
  • Experience in providing technical support to internal personnel.
  • Strong background in addressing system challenges, performing upgrades, and troubleshooting server issues.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
  • Familiarity with IBM iSeries and pSeries hardware.
  • Experience in a manufacturing setting is preferred.
  • Background in an enterprise-level organization is advantageous.
