We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Mitigation Lead Technician to lead a team of technicians in responding to water, fire, mold, and biohazard damage emergencies and restoring affected properties. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership abilities, technical expertise, communication skills, and a commitment to delivering exceptional service to our clients.
Responsibilities:
· Lead and supervise a team of mitigation technicians in responding to emergency damage situations.· Conduct thorough assessments of affected properties, including determining the extent of the damage and developing mitigation strategies. Oversee the implementation of restoring the property to industry standards.· Coordinate with clients, insurance adjusters, and other stakeholders to provide updates and address any concerns throughout the restoration process.· Ensure that all work is performed safely and efficiently, in accordance with industry standards and company policies & procedures.· Train and mentor team members on proper restoration techniques, equipment operation, and safety protocols.· Monitor project progress, making adjustments as necessary to meet deadlines.· Conduct quality assurance inspections to ensure all workmanship meets company standards and customer expectations. Maintain accurate documentation and records of work performed, including photographs and job logs.
Requirements:· High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications or training in water damage restoration preferred.· Minimum of 2 years of experience in water mitigation, including 1 year in a supervisory or leadership role.· Strong technical knowledge of water damage restoration techniques, equipment, and materials.· Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.· Proven ability to effectively manage projects from start to finish, including prioritizing tasks, allocating resources, and meeting deadlines.· Valid driver's license and clean driving record.· Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed.· Willingness to travel within the US approximately 3X per year for storm cleanup and restoration.
