Supply Chain Analyst

Essentra is immediately hiring for aSupply Chain Analyst to join our Supply Chain team. As a Supply Chain Analyst your role will be essential to carrying out day to day reporting and analysis functions within the AMERS Supply Chain group.

What you will do:
- Identifying and designing dashboards to report critical KPIs
- Working with Supply Chain team to extract data and assemble into actionable reporting
- Collect data on supply chain operations.
- Analyze data to identify areas of supply chain operations to improve efficiency.
- Develop and execute projects to enhance supply chain operations.
- Assess vendor operations and enforce compliance with quality standards.
- Measure supply chain performance and report to management.
- Work with the procurement, logistics and IT departments to enhance service delivery
- Daily reporting on various KPIs
- Identification of opportunity for increased efficiency, cost optimization, etc.
- Participation in projects, supporting from a Supply Chain standpoint
- Creation and maintenance of SC dashboards
What we look for:
Required:
- Proven track record in a similar role, ideally with experience of operating with a high-volume of product lines
- Excellent verbal, written skills with so as to communicate appropriately with all levels of the business
- First class time-management and organization skills to support working in a versatile & fast-paced role
- A willingness to be forward thinking and accepts any changes necessary for the progress of the department or Company
- Take ownership of change actions; ensure everyone is fully engaged, the overall pace of change is set to achieve targets, and manage any uncertainty and/or issues that arise during the process
- Experience in a supply management role or related position
- Excellent mathematical and analytical skills
- Bachelors degree in supply chain management, logistics, business management or related fields
- Ability to work from one of our office locations (Houston, TX, Westchester, IL, Flippin, AR, Erie, PA)
Preferred:
- Proven knowledge of inventory management
- Two or more years experience in a supply management role or related position
- Working knowledge of data analysis and forecasting tools and ability to develop actionable insights from data
- Proficient in use of Microsoft Office software, and knowledge of warehouse management systems beneficial
