The Business Analyst plays a crucial role in collaborating with management across various business sectors to develop and uphold the Schedule of Value (SOV), Statement of Work (SOW), and Item Master records essential for bidding and awarding materials, as well as engineering and construction service contracts. This position emphasizes the creation and implementation of item master records and SOVs aimed at cost minimization, achieving cost efficiency, and standardizing bids and contracts. Additionally, the Business Analyst will support process enhancement initiatives across all business sectors.
Key Responsibilities:- Establish procedures to guarantee standardization, consistency, and accurate cost accounting across all business sectors.
- Oversee the National Schedules of Value (SOV) and Statements of Work (SOW) processes and documentation for all business sectors.
- Refine SOV processes and formats to align with Supply Chain strategic objectives, including volume discount negotiations and reduction of service expenditures.
- Manage change requests for all SOVs and SOWs on a national scale, facilitating cross-functional discussions and approvals.
- Ensure that new SOV and SOWs are aligned with Job Costing and IT, tracking updates until implementation to guarantee completion.
- Create, maintain, and eliminate Item Master numbers within the ERP systems.
- Integrate and synchronize processes and documentation across all business sectors to unlock additional volume discount opportunities and enhance financial spend reporting.
- Assist in executing Supply Chain projects to achieve organizational objectives.
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience is preferred.
- A minimum of five (5) years of experience in services management, construction management, project management, or a related field.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage professionally with a diverse range of individuals, including executives, managers, and subject matter experts.
- Strong interpersonal skills, capable of building and sustaining trusting relationships.
- Comprehensive understanding of Small Cell, Fiber, and/or Tower industries.
- Familiarity with data sets that can be extracted from systems for reporting purposes.
- Ability to meet project deadlines and manage resources effectively.
- Experience in executing process improvement projects and project management.
- Knowledge of JD Edwards and Oracle systems.
- Proficiency in VBA is advantageous.
- Strong MS Office skills, particularly in Excel.
- Excellent organizational and prioritization abilities.
