Argenta is looking for an experienced Head of Manufacturing to join our Argenta, Fort Dodge team.  


The Head of Manufacturing adds value through the following responsibilities:

  • Works with General Manager to establish and implement KPI's for the manufacturing team and ensures the team meet or exceeds targets with an emphasis on efficiency, accurate costs and resource utilization
  • Collaborates with Procurement and Planning to ensure production schedule is accurate and there is timely inventory of raw materials for the purpose of ensuring schedule is met within budget and full utilization of people resources
  • Creates a culture of continuous improvement for processes, systems, training and people
  • Provides strong leadership in developing production operations talent, ensuring the team's high performance and productivity levels
  • Provides robust analysis and reporting of key manufacturing metrics


Head of Manufacturing Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred with emphasis in Manufacturing Management, Engineering, Supply Chain or Materials Management or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Seven plus years of related experience in Manufacturing operations leadership
  • Possess a strong understanding of GMP regulations
  • Leadership skills with the ability to delegate, motivate and inspire team members
  • Able to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously
  • Great understanding of production scheduling
  • Excellent root cause analysis, analytical, problem solving and organization skills
