1st Shift, Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM.


Job Purpose:

The Production Scheduler supports the General Manager in leading the workforce to foster teamwork, cooperation, and productivity. This role is focused on outlining and managing production schedules for all equipment across three manufacturing facilities. The Production Scheduler will collaborate closely with customer service, sales, and operations teams to ensure customer demand is met while maintaining efficient and streamlined operations throughout the organization.


Primary Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Schedule all production jobs entered daily, ensuring optimal workflow and minimal downtime.
  • Proactively assess and address future scheduling conflicts, working closely with Area Leaders to mitigate potential issues.
  • Collaborate with the technology team to continuously develop and improve our scheduling platforms, incorporating feedback and best practices.
  • Partner with production teams to identify and eliminate issues stemming from management execution and team member interactions. Develop trust through standardized communication tools.
  • Advocate for Lean and Safety Culture, with a strong emphasis on growing and developing team member talent.
  • Make data-driven decisions based on metrics, time-studies, and observations to improve production efficiency and effectiveness.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field preferred or equivalent professional experience.
  • Ability to maintain a "yes, we will" positive service attitude.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other relevant software tools.
  • Ability to learn new software platforms quickly.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines for projects of various sizes and scopes.
  • Flexibility to adjust to daily needs.
  • Hands-on approach to managing and resolving challenges.
  • Excellent attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in scheduling and reporting.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, enabling effective collaboration across teams.
  • Aptitude for data analysis and statistical methods, supporting informed decision-making.
  • Highly conscientious, diligent, and committed to excellence in all aspects of the role.
