Position Summary:

The Production Associate will be responsible for adhering to all operational guidelines to ensure effective production and quality assurance of prosthetic components. This role includes operating machinery used in the manufacturing of prosthetic feet and accessories. Punctuality and regular attendance are essential for this position, which primarily operates during first shift hours with potential Saturday overtime to fulfill customer demands. Additional responsibilities may be assigned as necessary.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Understand and comply with all safety, manufacturing, and quality protocols.
  • Safely operate various manufacturing equipment, including metered mix machines, hydraulic presses, and standard cutting and assembly tools, to produce prosthetic components that meet established specifications.
  • Learn and apply knowledge regarding the structural design of fiber-reinforced composite materials.
  • Follow guidelines for the storage and handling of materials to maintain product quality and shelf life.
  • Conduct inspections of produced parts to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Prioritize daily tasks based on work orders and production goals.
  • Achieve daily production targets while ensuring quality and timely delivery of products.
  • Document manufacturing and product data using custom software applications or paper tracking systems.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors and as required within the facility.

  • Proficiency in using computers for data entry and quality tracking.
  • Ability to utilize email and web-based applications effectively.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • High School diploma or equivalent educational achievement.
  • Capability to stand for extended periods.
  • Aptitude for working in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment.
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing setting with safe operation of equipment is preferred.
