Role Objective:
The Production Scheduler plays a crucial role in assisting the General Manager to cultivate teamwork, collaboration, and productivity within the workforce. This position is dedicated to defining and overseeing production timelines for all machinery across three manufacturing sites. The Production Scheduler will work closely with customer service, sales, and operations teams to ensure that customer needs are met while maintaining efficient and streamlined processes throughout the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Organize all production tasks entered daily, ensuring optimal workflow and minimal interruptions.
- Proactively identify and resolve future scheduling conflicts, collaborating with Area Leaders to prevent potential challenges.
- Work alongside the technology team to continually enhance our scheduling systems, integrating feedback and best practices.
- Collaborate with production teams to pinpoint and resolve issues arising from management execution and team interactions, fostering trust through standardized communication methods.
- Promote a Lean and Safety Culture, emphasizing the growth and development of team member skills.
- Utilize data-driven insights based on metrics, time studies, and observations to enhance production efficiency and effectiveness.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field preferred or equivalent professional experience.
- Ability to maintain a positive service-oriented attitude.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other relevant software applications.
- Quick learner of new software platforms.
- Ability to manage tight deadlines for projects of varying sizes and complexities.
- Flexibility to adapt to daily operational needs.
- Hands-on approach to addressing and resolving challenges.
- Exceptional attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in scheduling and reporting.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, facilitating effective collaboration across teams.
- Aptitude for data analysis and statistical methods, supporting informed decision-making.
- Highly conscientious, diligent, and committed to excellence in all aspects of the role.
