Position Summary:
The Production Associate will be responsible for adhering to all operational guidelines to ensure effective production and quality assurance of prosthetic components. This role involves operating machinery for the manufacturing of prosthetic feet and accessories. Punctuality and regular attendance are essential for this position, which operates on a Monday through Friday schedule with potential Saturday overtime to meet production demands. Additional responsibilities may be assigned as necessary.
Key Responsibilities:
- Understand and comply with all safety, manufacturing, and quality protocols.
- Safely operate various manufacturing equipment, including metered mix machinery, hydraulic presses, and standard cutting and assembly tools, to produce prosthetic components that meet established specifications.
- Learn and apply knowledge regarding the structural design of fiber-reinforced composite materials.
- Follow proper procedures for storing and handling materials to maintain product quality and shelf life.
- Conduct inspections of produced parts to ensure quality standards are met.
- Prioritize daily tasks based on assigned work orders.
- Achieve daily production targets to ensure timely delivery of high-quality products.
- Document manufacturing and product data using custom applications or paper tracking systems.
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisory staff as required within the facility.

- Proficiency in using a PC for email and web-based applications.
- Strong attention to detail.
- High School diploma or equivalent educational achievement.
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Capability to thrive in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment.
- Prior experience in a manufacturing setting with safe operation of equipment is preferred.
