At Motion Industries, our Shipping/Receiving Clerks are key members of our team who provide the highest levels of customer service by performing all shipping and receiving activity for the Shop ensuring the customer receives the correct products in a timely manner. They are also responsible for stocking and and keeping the shop clean. an important role in our process of keeping industry in motion. Motion Industries offers an excellent benefits package which includes options for health care coverage, 401(k) plan, tuition reimbursement, vacation, sick and holiday pay.

Responsibilities
Pull products that are allocated to work orders.
Verify accuracy in part number and quantity
Package appropriately for transit via UPS/FedEx
Follow account or shipment specific instructions to meet the customer s expectations
Complete necessary paperwork per transaction requirements
Coordinate with carrier personnel as necessary
Receive incoming product daily
Inspect, review and verify part number, quantity of parts against purchase order documentation
Review for any damage and take appropriate steps
Accurately put product away in the correct locations
Receive product in computer system to maintain accurate inventory counts
Prepare customer returns for shipment
Maintain a clean warehouse
Will be required to file paperwork
. Build skids for shipping material on

Qualifications
Preferably experienced in a small distribution environment (not automated order picking/packing environment) as our system is very manual
Computer savvy with UPS/FedEx shipping programs as well as a basic level of experience with Microsoft Office and data entry (looking up part numbers, etc.)
Must have good attention to detail, be thorough and organized
Ability to multitask and manage time well
High School Diploma or GED
Must be physically able to bend, lift, stretch and spend most of the day on their feet and active
Ability to move up to 100 lbs. and lift up to 50 lbs.
Mechanical aptitude and previous exposure to our products would also be a plus
