Commercial and Residential Management Group is seeking a Corporate Accounting Assistant to join the Corporate Accounting team As the Corporate Accounting Assistant, you will be responsible for aiding the Corporate Controller in administering corporate payables, receivables, month-end closings, financial reporting, payroll and benefits, and rebilling expenses to properties.



Location: 9400 SW Barnes Road, Suite 400, Portland, OR 97225

Hourly Rate: $25-$30/hr. (DOE)

Schedule: FT, Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm

Weekly Contracted Hours: 40

Requirements:

What you will bring as the Corporate Accounting Assistant

  • Three (3) to four (4) years of experience in accounting and bookkeeping.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in accounting is preferred.
  • One (1) year of experience with QuickBooks Online is highly preferred.
  • Knowledge of payroll, taxes and benefits accounting procedures is preferred.
  • Advanced spreadsheet (Excel) skills including creating and using advanced formulas, tables and formatting, conditional formatting, charting, pivot tables, pivot reporting, and macros.
  • Advanced accounting and bookkeeping skills utilizing accounting software.
  • Able to focus and remain engaged while performing repetitive and routine tasks for long periods of time.
  • Able to multi-task, set priorities, manage time efficiently, file, and organize.
  • Able to work independently with little supervision but be a productive member of a team when required.
