We are seeking a motivated and outgoing Office Coordinator/IT Order Processor to join our team. In this role, you will provide a variety of clerical and administrative support to our employees, ensuring the office runs smoothly and efficiently as well as interfacing with clients to quote IT equipment purchases. Your responsibilities will include answering phone calls and greeting visitors, scheduling appointments, and writing correspondence. The ideal candidate is highly organized with excellent written and verbal communication skills and a friendly demeanor.
Responsibilities
- Develop, update, and maintain relevant office procedures
- Create and maintain an organized filing system
- Greet and assist clients as they arrive
- Answer incoming phone calls and route them to the appropriate person
- Schedule appointments and maintain calendar
- Assist in the creation of compliance and policy documents for IT customers
- Perform basic bookkeeping and purchasing activities
- Communicate with customers to spec IT equipment purchases and provide quotes for said equipment and associated professional services
- Address and resolve customer concerns with a professional attitude
- High school diploma/GED required, additional education is a plus
- Applicable previous experience in IT field preferred
- Familiarity with QuickBooks Online preferred
- Experience with Purchase Orders and purchasing procedures preferred
- Ability to review technical documents and customer requirements to spec IT equipment is a plus
- Understanding of basic bookkeeping principles
- Familiarity with standard office equipment such as printers and fax machines
- Excellent computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
- Highly organized with excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize projects
