If so, we want you to join our team as a Technical Sales Representative. As a key member of our sales force, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building, and nurturing client relationships, and driving revenue growth, particularly within the engineering community and the C-suite.

As a Technical Sales Representative, you will complete the following responsibilities:

  • Responsibility to proactively seek and develop new business within assigned territory.
  • Actively calling on existing customers to foster growth and opportunity.
  • Identify and target potential clients within the assigned territory with a focus on engineers and C-suite executives through research, cold calls, networking, and other creative methods to uncover new sales opportunities.
  • Developing a thorough understanding of customers’ business goals and objectives, operating systems, and manufacturing processes.
  • Develop and execute strategies to generate a consistent pipeline of opportunities.

SPECIAL SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

  • Proven technical sales experience required with a focus on selling to engineers and the C-suite.
  • Ability to aggressively prospect new business.
  • Strong customer focus with the ability to initiate, develop, and maintain relationships.
  • Ability to work creatively, independently, and collaboratively.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • A relevant bachelor’s degree in engineering, industrial technology, with robotics and/or sales engineering required.
  • In lieu of a bachelor’s degree, a relevant associate degree in a related technical field with strong, demonstrated mechanical/technical aptitude and 3-5 years of technical sales experience.
