Campbell Tractor & Implement, Inc. is a rapidly growing John Deere Dealership. We are seeking a detail oriented individual to fill a full-time position as an Accounts Payable Specialist. Campbell Tractor has 6 locations in Idaho and Oregon. The right person will possess problem solving and process improvement skills. Purpose:

Process accounts payable activities which include processing parts, complete goods, and all other invoices and maintaining vendor records.

Responsibilities:

  • Enters all vendor invoices into the dealer business system.
  • Enter new vendors into dealer business system.
  • Verifies invoices for accuracy, resolve discrepancies, ensures payment terms are followed, and calculates discounts as appropriate.
  • Obtains approval and distributes invoices as needed prior to processing payments.
  • Process sales tax payments to various states.
  • Prepares and processes checks or online payments in a timely manner.
  • Reconciles vendor statements.
  • Accurately maintains vendor records and various records for tax purposes (1099’s or tax-exempt forms)
  • Process payables using a document system.
  • Upload documents into document system, route to appropriate approvers.
  • Ensure payments to vendors are accurate and timely.
  • Enter agriculture equipment into business system.
  • Assists other co-workers with tasks, as necessary.
Requirements:

Requirements:

  • Experience with using business system applications preferred.
  • Knowledge of agriculture equipment industry preferred.
  • Understands accounting fundamentals.
  • Ability to use standard desktop applications such as Microsoft Excel and internet functions.
  • Ability to use the dealer’s business system and other programs specific to the position.
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy
  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience required.
  • Associates Degree in an Accounting/Finance discipline preferred.
