Revology Cars is hiring an experienced Fiberglass Technician to build new Ford-licensed reproduction 1965-68 Mustang and Shelby GT automobiles.
PAY AND BENEFITS
- A Fiberglass Technician at Revology Cars will make between $22-30 per hour depending on experience and willingness to work overtime.
- This is not a flat rate job. The pay is stable, and you don't have to worry about not being assigned enough hours.
- The work week is 6:00am to 4:30pm Monday through Thursday, with Friday, Saturday, and Sunday off. Optional Friday overtime work may be available.
- We offer company-sponsored medical, dental, and vision coverage, and an Employee Assistance Program (EAP).
- 80.0 hours paid time off (PTO) starts accruing immediately after hire, and new hires are eligible for holiday pay (72.0 hours per year) after only 90 days.
- All full-time employees are eligible for our 401(k) with up to 4% company match after only 180 days.
- We work in a modern, air-conditioned facility with dust and weld fume extraction systems, first-class amenities, and convenient parking.

ABOUT THE JOB
- Repairs damaged fiberglass automobile body panels, using pneumatic tools and knowledge of fiberglass repair techniques: Cuts away damaged fiberglass, using air grinder.
- Smooths edges of painted surface, using sandpaper or air-powered sander.
- Masks surrounding undamaged surface, using masking tape.
- Mixes polyester resin and hardener according to specifications and applies mixture to repair area, using brush.
- Soaks matting in resin mixture and layers matting over repair area to specified thickness.
- Occasionally secures new panel to repair area using C-clamp.
- Applies and spreads body filler manually to re-establish surface.
- Manually files away excess filler to match original contour.
- Smooths filler using air sander.

REQUIREMENTS
- 3-5 years of work experience in an automotive or boat fiberglass repair facility.
- Knowledge of all necessary PPE requirements for working with fiberglass.
- Experience with basic air and hand tools.
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability and willingness to learn and follow safety rules and procedures.
- Ability to perform manual labor, standing and walking much of the time, and with a certain amount of manual dexterity (the ability to pick up, handle, and manipulate tools, parts, and/or materials quickly and accurately).
- Ability to maneuver into, around, and about vehicles or components on an assembly line. Tasks may require a certain amount of reaching, twisting, and bending.
- Ability to learn, remember, and maintain pace of steps involved in performing a job after instruction, training, and familiarization with the tasks.
- Ability and willingness to understand and follow instructions, both verbal and written.
- Ability to perceive differences in very specific details when inspecting parts or work performed, checking for defects or quality issues, or when distinguishing various parts/components by identification number or code.
- Ability and willingness to work in a team environment, including helping co-workers, maintaining, and promoting a safe work environment, treating co-workers with dignity and respect regardless of personal differences, and accepting and following instructions and requests from leadership.
- Able to plan, organize, and manage work effectively.
- Ability and willingness to follow work instructions and do things the same way, to the same high standard of quality, every time.
- All positions require familiarity with Microsoft Office applications and the ability to use, or willingness to learn how to use, an iPad.
