The State Department Federal Credit Union is seeking a branch Member Service Representative whose primary role is to assist members and potential members with their Credit Union needs. They will explain services, set up new accounts, respond to problems, and direct members to the appropriate personnel. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:
1. Minimum of 1 year teller experience or 1 year customer service experience including cash handling and sales
2. Aptitude for working fast and accurately with numbers
3. Ability to solve arithmetic and mathematical reasoning problems
4. Strong interpersonal skills
5. Sound judgment
6. Strong organizational skills
7. Accurate inputting of 30 w.p.m.
8. Experience in a Windows based PC environment desired
