Human Resources Generalist

We are seeking a Human Resources Generalist to join our team and play a key role key on the Human Resources team located in Queens, NY.

Working in a professional office setting the selected individual will deliver the new hire orientation,work within the HRIS and provide reports, trends, data entry of employee data, benefits administration and other key HR support duties.

This position offers more than usual autonomy in a highly visible position. The HRG will bring a collaborative working style and have excellent communication skills, including presentation skills for new hire orientations , a sense of urgency and the disciplines of follow-up and attention to detail. Ability to take on new tasks, be flexible and positive in handling HR matters within a dynamic work environment.


Qualified candidates will bring:

  • 3-5 years of HR experience
  • Some labor/union experience desired
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
  • Strong relationship management skills and coaching skills, with an ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, both across HR and the organization at all levels
  • Bachelor's degree with additional training/certifications desired
