A Design Coordinator acts as a liaison between design customers and their assigned designers. This role facilitates the distribution of qualified leads to design team members and directs unqualified leads to specific departments based on the customer’s needs. This role requires a “customer-first” mindset and approach, with excellent communication skills and a passion for promoting the core values of Signature Solar.

This role may require flexible working hours, including weekends and evenings to accommodate customer needs and events.

A successful candidate must be able to:

  • Greet and engage customers in a friendly and professional manner.

  • Assess customer needs and provide appropriate guidance to the correct department.

  • Demonstrate a deep understanding of our solar products and services.

  • Conduct consultations with customers to understand their requirements and goals.

  • Actively engage in lead generation activities, including participating in events, promotions, and networking.

  • Provide post-sale support and address customer inquiries or concerns.

  • Complete sales-related tasks and documentation accurately and in a timely manner.

  • Provide regular reports regarding lead status and sales activities.

  • All other duties assigned.

A successful candidate will demonstrate:

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Knowledge of solar energy systems and their benefits.

  • Knowledge of systems utilized by Signature Solar to include CRM, Marketing, B2B and communication software platforms.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Goal-oriented with a track record of successful customer interactions.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in customer service or customer facing roles is required.

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • Certification in solar energy or related fields is a plus.

Physical Requirements:

  • This position may require the ability to perform tasks that involve sitting, standing, walking, lifting, computer work and other physical activities. Candidates should be able to meet these physical demands with or without reasonable accommodations.
