Job Posting - Fleet Operations Coordinator

Venture Global LNG is a premier provider of American-produced liquefied natural gas, dedicated to delivering long-term, cost-effective solutions. We are currently in search of a proficient Fleet Operations Coordinator to join our Supply Chain Management team. This role requires a highly motivated and accountable individual with exceptional coordination abilities. The Fleet Operations Coordinator will work closely with Procurement Management at our facility.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the Onsite Fleet, which includes aspects such as Maintenance, Fuel Management, Rentals, Licensing, Accident Management, Insurance, Inventory Control, Driver Database, and Telematics Data for a fleet of approximately 150 vehicles.
  • Engage proactively in monitoring and reporting on fleet operational performance, focusing on lifecycle management, fuel efficiency, cost analysis, and daily rental usage.
  • Assess fleet utilization and provide recommendations for the redeployment, addition, or removal of vehicles.
  • Supervise rental supplier invoicing to prevent purchase order overruns and assist stakeholders in securing optimal rental agreements.
  • Contribute to the development, tracking, and reporting of the budget for both owned and rental fleets.
  • Ensure accurate and timely record-keeping for all fleet services.
  • Drive continuous improvement of Key Performance Indicators aligned with the Fleet Team's objectives and company goals.
  • Coordinate with fleet service vendors to ensure prompt and accurate payments.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned and manage other ad hoc tasks.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in fleet coordination, warehousing, or supply chain management, preferably within the oil and gas sector; experience in LNG liquefaction facilities is highly desirable.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license and Transportation Workers Identification Credential (TWIC).

  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, along with strong organizational abilities.
  • Commitment to personal safety, the safety of company assets, employees, and the public.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • May be required to carry a cell phone and respond as necessary during working and non-working hours.
