Reports to: Marketing Director

Armor Express is looking for an Ecommerce Marketing Specialist to play a key role in developing and executing strategies to maximize our brand's online visibility, drive B2C and B2B acquisition and retention, and optimize site performance. Owning the B2B and B2C journeys in our online store, the Ecommerce Growth Specialist oversees company’s ecommerce web presence, ensuring that the site is customer-friendly, and an effective purchasing and post purchase tool for users.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive ecommerce growth strategies, focusing on driving online leads and increasing customer acquisition, retention, and sales.
  • Work closely with the broader Executive team to align marketing strategies with business objectives, support product launches, and optimize ecommerce conversion funnels.
  • Plan, budget, and coordinate with the marketing team and supporting subcontractors effective digital marketing campaigns across various channels, including but not limited to email, social, SEO, and SEM.
  • Stay current with ecommerce trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to keep the site at the forefront of the industry. Budget for these improvement projects accordingly.
  • Optimize website performance and user experience by conducting regular audits to improve conversion rates and customer engagement.
  • Utilize web analytics tools to collect, track, analyze, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to make data driven decisions to improve site performance, increase customer engagement, and identify areas for sales growth.
  • Collaborating with IT and web/ecommerce development teams to enhance platform features, security, and technological advancements
  • Understand and utilize ecom and ERP software platforms to manage and optimize the online product catalog by ensuring accurate product configurations including product descriptions, images, other product resources, and accessories.
  • Assist with profile setup and custom catalog access needs
  • Ensure compliance with online retail laws, including data protection and privacy regulations
  • Work with Customer Service to handle inquiries related to the online shopping experience and resolve and issues that may arise.
  • Conduct training sessions with various internal and end-users on the functionality and utility of the platform.

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years in ecommerce marketing or management consulting, preferably within the tactical market.
  • Proven track record of revenue generation via ecommerce
  • In-depth knowledge of digital marketing channels and tactics, including search, email, and social media advertising.
  • Proficiency in ecommerce and opportunity management software systems (specifically those built within Salesforce.com)
  • Results oriented with strong analytical skills and experience in web analytics tool
  • A hands-on doer who loves wearing multiple hats, jumping in, and taking initiative to identify challenges and build successful solutions.
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and senior leaders.

Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and results-driven mindset.

Experience working in a fast-paced, lean small business is a plus.

Bachelor’s degree preferred, not required.
