Valued Kids in Centralia, WA is looking for one early childhood educator to join our amazing team. We are located on 1613 Grand Ave. Our ideal candidate is self-driven, motivated, and reliable. We are looking for someone who can begin as a sub / float staff. This will include covering days when others are out whether sick or vacations. (Nearly every day we need coverage, hours flex and change schedule.) This position may become consistent, and may even become full time as we continue to grow.

Responsibilities
- Jump in to any position from cook, to break giver, to toddler teacher, to preschool teacher, opening and closing tasks and more.
- Provide love, nurturing, support, and boundaries for children.
- Model healthy habits and high values.
- "Head on a swivel" attention to everyone and everything going on around you, Ability to foresee what could happen if.....
- Provide all life care for children - from diapers, to helping learn to walk, to writing their names. This also includes teaching them to clean up after themselves.
- TONS of cleaning is always a part of every day.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED
- 18yrs or older
- Willingness to do the many required trainings and ongoing education to be in compliance with DCYF regulations. This includes: 1st Aid/CPR, BBP, Food Handlers, CPS Mandated Reporter training, Safe Sleep, STARS trainings and so many more.
- TOTALLY clear background. You will do a DCYF background check and fingerprinting. This is done through Merit.dcyf.wa.gov
- Ability to take coaching and learn, grpw, and thrive.
- Ability to multi task and think ahead to what needs preparation.
- Ability to write clearly and document concisely.
- Able to work M-F 6am-5:30 pm as needed.
Available shifts and compensation: We have available shifts all days of the week. Compensation depends on your experience.
