Role Overview:

Exercise team collaboration and provide cross-function support to the entire Engineering studio to ensure proper project execution on all levels. Provides project setup support in the preparation of Revit drawings and project floor plans as well as basic adjustments to existing designs in the form of added red lines, schedules, and title blocks. Provides administrative support and organization for the team and their projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up Revit models and CAD files for all projects
• Work with the studio head/PM to coordinate expected delivery dates, times, and title block information
• Accurately distribute and track deadlines
• Assist team in setting up book specifications
• Accurately and timely sets up engineering sheets for assigned projects.
• Accurately and timely updates title blocks, floor plans, and Revit drawings in accordance with required specifications and project parameters.
• Accurately and timely plots, stamps, and prepares documents to be sent to clients after thoroughly examining documents for completion and neatness.
• Assists Engineers with project parameters for assigned Engineering projects.
• Accurately and timely write proposals when clients send an RFP.
• Professionally engages with clients throughout the duration of the project to create a positive working relationship.
• Actively participates in weekly studio meetings to ensure proper cross-function coordination.
• Timely determination of priorities, taking ownership of tasks, and exhibiting a high level of initiative and follow-through.
• Assists in the preparation of other documents relating to a project with enthusiasm and professionalism, including but not limited to RFI's, shop drawings, proposals, additional service requests and waivers.
• Actively collaborates with other members of the company to continuously strive to improve processes, create efficiencies and reduce costs.
• Cooperatively takes on other duties, roles or responsibilities as assigned
• Assist project teams in BIM / Revit project setup and model management

Minimum Qualifications:

• Knowledge of engineering drafting standards in multiple disciplines
• 2+ years’ experience in design, drafting or engineering production for MEP systems preferred
• 2+ years of AutoCAD and Revit
• Familiar with MS Office
• Knowledge of Bluebeam preferred
• Excellent verbal and written skills
• Excellent communication, training, and leadership skills

• Team-oriented, professional, self-starter with a positive attitude and multi-tasking capability.
