CAD Drafter

Purpose of the Position:

This CAD Drafter is responsible for designing and producing sets of plans for our telecommunications clients.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Prepare detailed construction drawings for clients adhering to industry standards.

Production/Time management skills in order to manage multiple workflows.

Perform quality checks on plan design drawings.

Detail oriented, professional attitude, good communication, team player, self-starter.

Create Telecommunication Engineering designs and layouts.

Knowledge, Skills and Competencies Required

Familiarity with telecom projects detailing outdoor equipment, indoor building layouts and grounding/electrical diagrams.

Ability to set up and manage CAD drafting and plan preparation standards.

Self-driven personality with a desire for team success.

Detail oriented, able to maintain quality control for all outgoing products.

Strong organizational and communication skills.

Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills.

Ability to operate in a dynamic and changing environment.

Computer Equipment and Software Requirements

Minimum 2 years CAD experience

Expert level experience using Microsoft office suite & Outlook; Excel and Adobe Acrobat (pdf files), digital photographs (jpeg files).

A design background in CAD would be preferred.

Education and Experience Required

High School Diploma or GED required.

2-Yr. Technical or Associates Degree in CAD preferred.

Minimum 2 years of experience in the wireless telecommunication industry
