The successful candidate will be responsible for maneuvering dozers to push and spread rock material, create and maintain work areas, and contribute to the overall efficiency of rock crushing operations at various quarry sites across Arizona and Nevada.


Advanced Equipment Operation and Training

  • Proficiently operates multiple types of heavy equipment used in a landscape rock quarry, such as loaders, haul trucks, and crushers (if applicable), demonstrating exceptional skill and efficiency.
  • May be responsible for training new operators on safe and proper equipment operation procedures.
  • Adapts to changing operational demands, readily switching between different equipment types as needed.
  • Contributes to the optimization of production processes by identifying opportunities to improve equipment usage and efficiency.

  • Performs mechanical tasks like bearing changes, shaft replacements, and belt splices, reducing reliance on external mechanics for basic repairs.

Safety Leadership and Production

  • Champions a culture of safety on the job site by strictly adhering to all safety protocols and procedures while operating equipment and performing maintenance tasks.
  • Sets a positive example for other operators, promoting safe work practices and a strong safety awareness.
  • Contributes to meeting and exceeding production targets by operating equipment efficiently and ensuring minimal equipment downtime through proper maintenance.
