We are pleased to announce the relocation of our corporate headquarters to Greenway Plaza’s Phoenix Tower in Houston’s Upper Kirby neighborhood.

The Social Media Communications Manager will be responsible for overseeing our social media presence, ensuring it aligns with our company values and marketing strategies. You will manage a Social Media Content Creator and work closely with senior marketing leaders, creative personnel field teams and Human Resources professionals to develop and implement social media campaigns. This role requires a strategic thinker who can create engaging content and grow our online presence.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Social Media Strategy - Develop and execute innovative social media strategies aligned with Perry Home’s marketing and branding goals.
  • Content Creation and Management - Collaborate closely with our content creators to conceptualize and curate compelling content for all organic social media channels, including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, X (formerly Twitter), LinkedIn, and TikTok.
  • Community Management - Monitor our social media community and foster a positive and interactive online community.
  • Performance Analysis - Track and analyze key performance metrics across social media platforms to measure the effectiveness of campaigns and identify areas for improvement. Use insights to optimize content strategies and achieve company KPIs.
  • Trend and Industry Awareness - Stay updated on social media trends and emerging platforms to leverage opportunities for brand growth and increased engagement.
  • Social Media Campaigns - Conceptualize and execute creative social media campaigns ensuring seamless integration with overall marketing initiatives.
  • Influencer Collaboration - Identify and collaborate with influencers and brand advocates to amplify our social media presence and reach new audiences.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration - Work closely with marketing, design, field teams, human resources and PR teams to ensure consistent messaging and brand alignment across all marketing channels.

Qualifications

  • College degree preferably in Marketing and/or Communications.
  • Requires at least 4 years of experience in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations or social media role.
  • Displays in-depth knowledge and understanding of Sprout and Social Media platforms (Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube, Pinterest, X (formerly Twitter), etc.) and how each platform can be deployed in different scenarios.
  • Experience sourcing and managing content development and publishing.
  • Possesses great ability to identify potential negative or crisis situations and applies conflict resolution principles to mitigate issues.
  • Highly organized and a strong attention to accuracy and detail.
  • The ability to communicate with others effectively, both orally and in writing, in a professional and competent manner, experience working with executives a necessity.
  • Demonstrated organization and time management, to include the ability to multi-task and run multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining thoroughness and precision without supervision.
  • Demonstrated computer skills to include advanced level experience with Microsoft Office, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Teams.
  • Current, valid Driver’s License with acceptable driving record.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Sprout certification
  • Facebook ad manager experience
