Position Summary 

We are looking for an energetic, motivated, and highly skilled technology professional to join our dynamic ICHQ team The IT Manager plays a vital role in our organization and will take the lead on creating and delivering the technology vision for our International Corporate Headquarters (ICHQ). In this role, you will partner with leaders across Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc., to identify and implement best practices, lead the IT department, and support our strategic initiatives and objectives.


Essential Job Functions

  • Develop and implement the technical vision, and lead the technological execution of the vision across the organization
  • Establish strategic plans while setting timelines for evaluation, development, and deployment of all technical, web, and mobile services
  • Identifying opportunities to advance the current web and mobile services, including monitoring web analytics and providing recommendations that align with business goals, while identifying web user needs
  • Collaborate with department leaders, marketing, production, and operations as an advisor of all technologies involved with the organization
  • Ensure technology standards and best practices are developed, implemented, and consistently utilized across the organization
  • Develop, implement, and supervise quality assurance processes, integration, and system tests cross-functionally to support internal and external customers
  • Establish software development processes and set objectives for the processes in alignment with organizational needs
  • Maintain network security with the IT team by identifying opportunities, and risks company-wide
  • Develop and implement disaster and emergency recovery plans
  • Supervise the workflow of the IT department, including reviewing timeframes and budgets, and mentoring team members
  • Define company standards and best practices for systems, equipment, and software, while staying up to date on industry trends, technologies, and software development
  • Study information processing systems to evaluate their effectiveness and make recommendations for improvement
  • Represent the company at conferences and networking events
  • Ensure the company's technological processes and services comply with all requirements, laws, and regulations


Required Qualifications:


Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field; Master's degree in Information Technology or a technology-related discipline preferred


Experience: Must have at least 8-10 years of experience in a Software Development role, Information Technology role, or related field; five years in a Management or Leadership role.


Experience with technology relative to industry; .Net, C#, SQL Server, MongoDB, Solr, jQuery, Angular, AWS, IIS, GitHub, Grunt/Gulp, Node.JS, Java/C

Remote/Hybrid Work Schedule Requirements:

M-F 8:00 – 5:00 PM and special events/conferences as needed.
