Position Overview

The role involves collaborating in the establishment and execution of strategic security objectives by identifying the most effective methods and determining the essential tools, technologies, tasks, processes, and metrics for successful implementation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate the execution of operational procedures and maintain ongoing oversight to ensure their efficiency.
  • Identify, collect, analyze, and respond to pertinent operational metrics to improve overall performance.
  • Guide the execution of strategies and objectives in alignment with established metrics, working in partnership with security personnel, system administrators, stakeholders, and end-users as required.
  • Conduct continuous monitoring of various security programs, including privilege management, hardening and configuration management, vulnerability management, and minimizing attack surfaces.
  • Work collaboratively to enhance our ongoing security awareness initiative, improving knowledge and understanding of threats and appropriate security measures.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience in Information Security, with relevant technology and infrastructure expertise.
  • Bachelor's degree is required.
  • Must possess or be willing to obtain PCI Internal Security Assessor (ISA) certification.
  • CISSP certification is preferred.
  • CompTIA Security+ Certification or equivalent certifications are preferred.

Additional Skills:

  • Comprehensive knowledge of various security measures and experience in implementing Defense in Depth solutions that integrate technology-centric measures with administrative and other controls.
  • Familiarity with the Microsoft security ecosystem.
  • Understanding of Microsoft Azure and associated security challenges and opportunities.
  • Knowledge of Secure SDLC issues and best practices is desirable.
  • Experience in balancing security goals with ROI considerations.
  • Aptitude for understanding in-house developed systems and identifying associated risks.
