ABOUT CASCADE:

Cascade Community Healthcare (CCH) has been providing treatment services to Lewis County and surrounding areas for more than 50 years. Our mission is to provide our clients with compassionate and encouraging counseling leading to a renewed sense of hope and the ability to make positive changes and live more satisfying lives. Cascade currently has six treatment locations in Lewis County.

 

We are looking for an Administrative Professional to join our Reception Team. The Administrative Professional is responsible for answering and prioritizing phone calls, scheduling appointments, assisting walk-in clients, receiving/sending faxes, collecting client payments, mail distribution, processing requests for service, staff scheduling, Medicaid insurance verification, SFS agreements, general office duties as necessary, and other duties as assigned by department supervisor.

 

TRAVEL:

This position requires travel between multiple Cascade Locations. Must be legally able to drive in the state of Washington. 


SHIFTS AVAILABLE:

Monday - Friday, No Weekends


This position will normally require that the employee work a standard, Monday through Friday forty (40) hour week. This position is classified as being “non-exempt” according to the Fair Labor Standards Act.


PAY SCALE:

$17.33 - $21.13 Hourly, DOE.

 

WHAT YOU NEED TO GET THE JOB DONE:

  • Must be able to pass WA State Patrol background check. A national background check may be required if have not lived in WA State consecutively the last three years.
  • Must have a valid drivers license.
  • Must be able to respond to and tolerate difficult people and crisis situations.
  • Must be able to represent the agency in a positive and professional manner.
  • Must be able to communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing.
  • Must be able to enter information into a computer network system.
  • Must comply with agency policies and procedures.
  • Strong typing, spelling, grammar, and analytical skills required
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite of software, including Word, Excel & Outlook
  • Medical training or experience preferred.
  • Bilingual preferred.
  • Must maintain current contact information and mailing address on file with the human resources office.

 

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Operates front desk telephones and responds to all calls immediately.
  • Schedules all appointments and walk-ins.
  • Handles all client information and agency activities in a confidential manner in keeping with agency policy.
  • Contacts all clients one business day prior to their appointment.
  • Takes messages and relay accurate information to the appropriate person.
  • Places calls to clients if requested by clinician.
  • Refers specialized questions to the appropriate billing staff, clinician, or supervisor.
  • Completes intake paperwork for new clients.
  • Verifies Medicaid insurance. Calls clients and informs of insurance changes and refers to HCA to call if there is a coverage issue (loss of coverage).
  • Collects payments, writes receipts, and records payments in the EHR.
  • Collects proof of insurance as requested.
  • Prepares forms for clients as indicated, (ROI, Attestations, etc.).
  • Perform miscellaneous data entry (transfers, client update, etc.).
  • Lock-up at the end of each day and secure office.
  • Oversee the waiting room and report unusual activities to appropriate staff or supervisor.
  • Complete all documentation, reporting, and other paperwork per agency standards, timely.
  • Attend all appropriate staff, organizational, and meetings as assigned.
