SUMMARY

The Storage Facility Manager is responsible for the direct oversight, upkeep, and maintenance of the facility grounds, buildings, hardware, and sales inventory. The candidate is responsible for managing storage facilities and maintaining an efficient, safe and secure environment. The Manager will be responsible for ensuring that all storage facilities are maintained in compliance with company policies and customer needs.

The candidate will be responsible for traveling between 5 storage sites including Royse City (this is home base with on-site living), Abilene, and Greenville.

Responsibilities

  • Lease units and ensure leasing paperwork is completed for five locations in Texas (Abilene, Buffalo Gap, Tuscola, Greenville, and Royse City.
  • Travel to and maintain properties and grounds.
  • Coordinate and negotiate with vendors for repairs, maintenance, and facility upkeep.
  • Provide outstanding customer service including assessing and resolving customer problems.
  • Professionally handle leads and existing customers via phone, text, email, and walk-ins.
  • Keep the facility rented at optimum levels by effectively utilizing advertising and customer relation skills.
  • Control delinquencies through phone, text, emails, and letters. Ability to operate within all local and state laws/codes regarding evictions and auctions.

Qualifications

  • Prior management experience is preferred.
  • Prior storage facility experience is preferred.
  • 3+ years of customer service experience.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Valid driver’s license with no restrictions and automobile (company will provide mileage reimbursement).
  • Must be computer literate.
  • Must have experience with MS Office Suite.
  • Ability to learn and adapt to various web-based software products.
  • Background check, drug screen
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds without injury to person or property.
  • Must be willing to work in inclement weather as long as conditions are safe.
  • On-site living in company provided housing at Royse City location is required.

Compensation & Benefits:

This is a contracted 1099 position with a salary of 48k/year paid out semi-monthly via the contract terms.

The company will also provide on-site housing at the Royse City location free of charge as part of the compensation package.
