POSITION DESCRIPTION
The Security Department at Lumen Field, Lumen Field Event Center and WaMu Theater provides services 24 hours each day, 365 days per year. The Part Time Security Logistics Coordinator is responsible for performing duties similar to the Security Operations Lead Officer, but without supervisory responsibilities.
This position will assist with the processing of the many administrative functions associated with the Security Department’s day-to-day operations. Duties involve scheduling security personnel for special events (preparing staffing grids), preparing and submitting purchase orders, preparing and submitting payroll for the security staff, developing internal training programs related to current industry standards for security best practices and other logistical duties. This is a part time hourly position and at times will require work during evenings, weekends and holidays.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Perform payroll functions for security personnel using Dayforce software system
  • Perform accounts payable activities (processing POs, credit card reconciliation, etc.)
  • Build the work schedule of all full time and part time security officers, ensuring there is proper coverage to maintain the needed level of security related services
  • Ensure all part time security officers scheduled to work special events do not exceed an average of 30 hours per week, in compliance with the organization’s policy
  • Build staffing grids for all special events as directed
  • Participate in meetings with the Security Manager and Event Security Manager to plan needed staffing resources for special events
  • Maintain excellent working relationships with all internal and external partnerships
  • Give direction and guidance to the part time security officers, assisting with event security related activities as deemed appropriate
  • Assist the Security Manager with the management of requests for vacation and sick leave, ensuring that there is adequate coverage to maintain security services at all times
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Special Requirements
  • Must be able to pass a background inquiry
  • Must be able to obtain Basic First Aid and CPR/AED certification within 12 months of hire

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
The hourly rate for this non-exempt position is: $27.50
The hourly rate applies to the current posting. The posted hourly rate may vary based on key factors including, but not limited to, education, job-related knowledge, experience and skill set.
