As a Staff Accountant, you'll will be responsible for supporting our financial operations, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all accounting tasks. This role will play a crucial part in maintaining financial stability and transparency across our franchise operations.


Key Responsibilities:

  1. Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for franchise locations. Ensure adherence to GAAP and franchise accounting standards.
  2. Accounts Payable/Receivable: Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including invoice processing, vendor payments, and customer invoicing. Reconcile discrepancies and resolve issues promptly.
  3. General Ledger Maintenance: Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts. Prepare journal entries and assist in month-end and year-end closing procedures.
  4. Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and periodic financial forecasts. Monitor variances and provide analysis to support decision-making.
  5. Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analysis on business performance metrics such as profitability, margins, and expenses. Identify trends and provide insights to improve financial performance.
  6. Compliance and Auditing: Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal reporting requirements. Assist with internal and external audits as needed.
  7. Process Improvement: Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in accounting operations. Streamline workflows and procedures where applicable.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • 1+ years of experience in accounting or finance roles, preferably in a franchise or multi-unit environment.
