Position Overview:We’re a team of trailblazing designers and engineers from the robotics space (Willow Garage, Savioke, now Relay Robotics) and consumer tech industry (Apple) with a focus on developing advanced, super delightful products that strike on empathy and meaning with the people we serve. As we prepare for our product launch later this year, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Growth Marketing Manager to lead our pre-launch and launch campaigns.
We’re looking for experienced candidates who have thrived as individual contributors and are eager to hit the ground running while expanding their creativity to create extraordinary campaigns. The first 3 months in this role will involve working closely with the founding team to develop an exceptional customer journey from initial digital touchpoints to ongoing and sustaining communication, grounded in market leadership, transparency, inspiration, and delight. The Growth Marketing Manager will play a pivotal role in driving our marketing strategies for the pre-launch and launch phases. This individual will be responsible for understanding our target personas, building a high-converting pre-launch page, managing user email journeys, executing social content strategies, and leading our influencer and PR campaigns. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of driving growth for hardware products, particularly in the startup space.
Key Responsibilities:Strategic Planning and Execution:
  • Conduct market research to refine target personas.
  • Develop and execute pre-launch and launch marketing strategies.
  • Plan and execute strategies to build a high intent pre-crowdfunding audience.
Campaign Management:
  • Oversee the design and development of a high-converting pre-launch landing page.
  • Create and manage first party email marketing strategies.
  • Develop and execute a content calendar for social media platforms.
Influencer and PR Strategy:
  • Identify and collaborate with influencers to expand reach and drive awareness.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive PR strategy.
Performance Monitoring and Optimization:
  • Monitor key performance indicators (e.g., pre-launch sign-ups, social media engagement) and provide regular updates.
  • Collect and analyze feedback from early adopters to refine marketing strategies.
  • Continuously optimize campaigns based on performance data to maximize ROI.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
  • Work closely with our tight knit team to ensure marketing efforts align with product development and company goals.
  • Manage marketing budgets to ensure efficient use of resources and maximum impact.

Key Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field. An MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
  • 5+ years of experience in growth marketing, preferably in the hardware or consumer electronics sector. Experience in a startup environment is highly desirable.
  • Proven track record of driving growth for pre-launch and launch campaigns. Include specific examples or metrics of past successes.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience with data-driven marketing.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills.
  • Proficient in using marketing tools and platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, HubSpot, Mailchimp, social media management tools).
  • Proficiency and experience across all major social platforms, including Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, and X.
  • Creative thinker with the ability to develop engaging and compelling content.
  • Experience with influencer marketing and PR strategies.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment.
