This position will be responsible for managing the photolithography equipment team, which includes equipment engineers, equipment technicians, and contracted field service engineers, supporting 24/7 coverage and all areas of the Fab. Maintenance and tool trouble shooting on: 200 mm ASML DUV/I-Line Stepper/Scanner and DNS/TEL Track 200 mm equipment. Drives continuous improvement in tool availability, cost control, and other department metrics.

RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES

  • Photo area equipment operation managing
    • Communicates strategic objectives throughout the equipment organization and drives for results.
    • Drives key performance indicators for the equipment team, such as tool availability, preventive maintenance success rate, MTBF, MTTR, and cost.
    • Supports manufacturing by ensuring priorities are aligned.
    • Builds a strong team through mentorship, development of the team and successfully hiring candidates.
    • Drives improvement projects that maximize Fab efficiency and product quality.
    • Manages spare parts inventory levels to ensure minimal downtime while meeting cost goals
  • DNS track tool maintenance [10%]:
    • Cleaning coater unit cup and developer unit cup;
    • Adjusting coater and developer motor speed and tool robot systems;
    • Adjusting hot and cool plates temperature;
    • Adjusting CD and photo resist thickness;
  • DNS on-line tool troubleshooting [25%]:
    • Working on the recovery of any tool inline issues, including abnormal stop, wafer break, and any mechanical or electrical issues that cause tool stop;
  • TEL track tool maintenance [10%]:
    • Cleaning coater unit cup and developer unit cup;
    • Adjusting coater and developer motor speed and tool robot systems;
    • Adjusting hot and cool plates temperature;
    • Adjusting CD and photo resist thickness;
  • ASML tool maintenance [10%]:
    • Checking and adjusting tool focus;
    • Checking tool intensity;
    • Performing Exposure Overlay checks and adjustments;
    • Testing and adjusting robot system transfer;
  • Cost reduction project [5%]:
    • Working with the purchasing team to find the second source and working with the process team to qualify the second source;
  • TEL on-line tool troubleshooting [5%]:
    • Working on the recovery of any tool inline issues, including abnormal stop, wafer break, and any mechanical or electrical issues that cause tool stop;
  • ESH training for safety [5%]:
    • Studying ESH, including air masks, CPR, and emergency escape;
  • ASML on-line tool troubleshooting [30%]:
    • Working on the recovery of any tool inline issues, including abnormal stop, wafer break, and any mechanical or electrical issues that cause tool stop;

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION

  • Minimum Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering, Optical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or other related degree.
  • 5+ years of working experience in the semiconductor manufacturing environment.
  • 3-5 years' experience managing a team.
  • At least 10 year experience on ASML DUV/I-Line Stepper/Scanner system, DNS/TEL Track system operation

QUALIFICATIONS/OTHER REQUIREMENTS

  • Proficient at MS Office applications.
  • Strong business acumen with a demonstrated ability to make
  • Prior experience managing and developing an equipment team.
  • Ability to communicate with all levels of the organization, from technicians to executives.
  • Ability to support 24-hour operation.
  • Self-motivated.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
