Job Title: Equipment Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Equipment Engineer to join our team at Jireh Semiconductor. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and optimization of photolithography equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and optimize equipment to enhance functionality and prevent potential quality concerns.
  • Oversee equipment installations and upgrades.
  • Analyze design specifications and recommend design changes or substitutions of materials when appropriate.
  • Evaluate and diagnose problems, making timely repairs and improvements.
  • Work with shift technicians and field support vendors to isolate and solve problems.
  • Serve as a first-line resource on routine malfunctions and provide technical direction.
  • Train shift technicians in routine maintenance of equipment and advise them on appropriate actions to correct malfunctions and implement specification changes.
  • Perform administrative and coordination duties, including pass-downs, work orders, field service reports, system problem reports, and monthly reports.
  • Prepare written technical reports on an independent basis as needed.
Requirements:
  • BS degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, physics, chemistry, materials science, or a related field.
  • 5 years of experience in photo ASML scanner tools, with XT line preferred.
  • Strong technical capability and ability to troubleshoot system problems to board level required, component level preferred.
  • Ability to analyze equipment schematics for advanced troubleshooting of complex problems.
