Job DescriptionJob Description

VectorNav's GPS and inertial navigation technology enables customers around the world to push the envelope in their respective fields, ranging from UAVs to walking robots to self-driving cars. We are seeking a skilled and motivated Cybersecurity System Administrator to join our team. As a Cybersecurity System Administrator at VectorNav, you will be responsible for ensuring the security and integrity of our systems and networks. You will work closely with the IT team to implement and maintain effective cybersecurity measures to protect our data and infrastructure.

  • Monitor and manage cybersecurity systems and tools to identify and mitigate vulnerabilities and threats
  • Implement and enforce security policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
  • Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify potential risks and vulnerabilities
  • Plan and execute security measures such as firewall configurations, network segmentation, and access controls
  • Investigate and respond to security incidents, including conducting forensic investigations and implementing remediation strategies
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest cybersecurity trends, technologies, and best practices

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Proven experience working as a Cybersecurity System Administrator or in a similar role
  • Experience with NIST-800-171 and CMMC standards
  • Strong knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks, standards, and best practices
  • Experience with vulnerability assessment tools and techniques
  • Good understanding of network protocols, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks
  • Professional certifications such as CISSP or CISM are a plus
