Production Planner at Hidden Level

Hidden Level is transforming airspace safety with innovative, scalable drone detection technology. We provide real-time, actionable data to enhance security across various environments. As we expand, we are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Production Planner to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing production plans, coordinating materials and resources, and ensuring the timely delivery of products while maintaining high quality standards. As a Production Planner, you will collaborate closely with various teams, including production, procurement, logistics, and engineering, to optimize efficiency and achieve production goals.

As a Production Planner at Hidden Level, you will be responsible for...

Operational Planning:

  • Prepares and executes production schedules in a timely manner, to meet customer demand and Hidden Level delivery goals.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely availability of materials to meet production schedule.
  • Identify and mitigate potential bottlenecks impacting the production schedule.
  • Perform capacity analysis to establish and improve production lead times.
  • Conducts daily reviews of shortage and expedite reports.
  • Measures the overall utilization of resources in the production process.
  • Create and release manufacturing work orders to execute production schedule.

Continuous Improvement:

  • Accountable for key performance indicators that assess manufacturing efficiency and schedule attainment.
  • Implement best practices and suggest system enhancements to improve overall manufacturing efficiency.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, market conditions, and new technologies relevant to planning function.

Basic Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management & Information Systems, Supply Chain Management, Manufacturing Systems or Business Administration preferred, with 3+ years of Production Planning/Scheduling experience or Associates degree with 5+ years Production Planning/Schedule experience.
  • Proven experience as a planner or scheduler in a manufacturing environment, preferably in electrical assembly.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to optimize resources and resolve issues.
  • Excellent communication skills to interact with internal stakeholders and ability to work in cross-functional team.
  • Proficient in using ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning), MRP (Material Requirements Planning), and Shop Floor Execution systems.
  • Proven track record of leading and executing complex Lean Six Sigma projects, demonstrating measurable business impact.
  • Experience in Change Order Management and production scheduling.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel, -Word, and -Outlook.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience using Deltek Costpoint, Deltek TIPSFE.
  • APICS CPIM or CSCSP certification.

Salary at Hidden Level Inc. is market competitive and determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience. The anticipated salary range for this position based out of Syracuse, NY is estimated at $82,500 to $106,000 annually. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Hidden Level Inc.'s total compensation package for employees.
