TECHNICAL SALES AND CUSTOMER SERVICE REP QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical or business field OR equivalent work experience
  • 3+ years of industrial sales experience, preferably in precision industries
  • Proven track record of achieving sales goals
  • Strong technical aptitude and understanding of manufacturing processes
  • Ability to read blueprints and understand technical specifications
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with ERP systems

Bonus Criteria

  • Proficiency with basic 2D CAD programs
  • Experience with CRM software
  • Knowledge of heat treating and finishing processes
  • Bilingual communication skills in English and Spanish

WHAT TO EXPECT

In this Technical Sales and Customer Service Rep role, you can combine your technical knowledge with your effective sales skills and knack for customer service, making you an invaluable part of our business Your main focus is conducting sales calls, deepening client relationships, and providing accurate technical information. You speak with prospects about their needs, develop custom solutions, and create accurate cost estimates, encouraging clients to choose us.

Your job isn't done once the project is approved; you stay involved until completion to ensure the work meets the client's expectations. You oversee the production schedule, manage purchasing activities, and negotiate vendor prices to help us save costs wherever possible. Attentively, you use ERP and CRM software to track sales activities and progress. You stay on top of industry trends and help our team deliver quality results to clients
