Our successful hotel is seeking a dedicated Banquet Manager who is eager to provide our guests with an unforgettable event experience. You'll work directly with guests to book banquet space and provide options that meet their needs and budgets. We require someone with exceptional leadership abilities to manage banquet staff and ensure that our hotel services are of the highest quality. Our ideal candidate is a self-starter with 3+ years of hospitality experience, preferably in a management role, and an unwavering commitment to client satisfaction. Responsibilities:
  • Document the outcome of each event to assess and make improvements on future events and processes
  • Supervise the daily operations of the banquet are, including ordering supplies, overseeing event space set-up, and selecting staffing levels to provide an exceptional level of service
  • Engage with customers to go through banquet event options that suit their budget and go over any changes, questions, or concerns to ensure a quality product is provided
  • Communicate all event orders to on-site banquet staff members, so they are aware of their roles and obligations
  • Strengthen a customer-focused banquet event department continuously by developing policies, procedures, quality standards, and cost-cutting measures
Qualifications:
  • At least 3 years in a supervisory role in hospitality or food service
  • Excellent communication skills for working with clients and other team members
  • Strong computer skills, especially MS Office (Word, Excel, and Powerpoint) are needed
  • This role requires a strong emphasis on putting the guest first and providing exceptional customer service
  • High school diploma or equivalent, associate degree in hospitality management preferred
