Loparex LLC is the world's largest manufacturer of extrusion base and silicone coated release liners for the converting industry. We have manufacturing operations throughout the U.S., Europe, China, and India. We are currently looking for a Quality Control Inspector to work at the Malvern, PA facility.

This position includes different roles that focus on various processes and procedures throughout the manufacturing process. The role will provide quality support for the company and its customers by performing quality inspections and tests in accordance with established statistical process control procedures and quality standards. Perform quality audits on products to ensure that it meets specifications and ensure test equipment is calibrated.

In this role, you will:

  • Understand and follow all applicable safety and environmental requirements ensuring all OSHA, HAZMAT, and PADEP requirements and regulations are met.
  • General housekeeping to keep printing work areas clean, neat, and orderly and perform routine maintenance according to 5S Processes.
  • Understand and follow parameters on work orders, schedules, and special instructions, specifically sampling, test requirements, and material specifications.
  • Perform inspections and tests as assigned for any department.
  • Prepare reports, records, and tags.
  • Keep Supervisors/Operators informed of any quality problems.
  • Safely maintain quality and production standards.
  • Keep work area and equipment neat and orderly.
  • It is understood that this list of responsibilities is not all encompassing and that we are all expected to do any other duties that may be assigned to our jobs.

Qualified candidates will possess:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or three years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Must have a good record of attendance and punctuality.
  • Necessary education, experience, initiative, and the ability to successfully learn to handle the above responsibilities.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. as necessary.
  • Must be able to climb stairs, stand, reach, bend, push and pull related to collecting samples, testing, and maintaining sample records.
  • Work safety especially with knives and chemicals using appropriate safety equipment to obtain samples and prepare for testing.
  • Must have basic computer skills (navigation skills).
  • Must have clean work habits and ability to maintain a GMP workplace that meets Hygiene requirements.
  • Must be able to read and understand written forms and instructions.
