Position Overview: C/Sharpe is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented FP&A Accountant to join our finance team. This role is pivotal in driving the financial planning and analysis processes, providing business intelligence, and supporting strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills and have a passion for leveraging financial data to enhance business performance.


Key Responsibilities:

1)Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP.

2)Lead the budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processes to support strategic planning.

3)Develop and maintain financial models to assist in business decision-making.

4)Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and recommendations.

5)Support FP&A activities, including monthly financial reviews, cash flow forecasting, and scenario analysis.

6)Utilize business intelligence tools to analyze financial data and generate actionable insights.

7)Assist in the implementation and enhancement of financial systems and processes.

8)Ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-end close processes.

9)Collaborate with project managers on job profitability forecasting.

10)Collaborate with 3rd party CPA firm on financial statement review and tax.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA or CMA certification is preferred.

3+ years of progressive accounting experience, with focus on FP&A and Business Intelligence

Proficiency in financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Experience with accounting software and BI tools (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics, Power BI, Tableau)

Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities
