Job Title: Maintenance Worker
We are seeking dedicated individual to join our team as Maintenance Worker.
Schedule:
Monday - Friday (8am - 4pm) - 1 open availability
Weekends as needed and approved by Facility Administrator
Responsibilities:
- Support the philosophy through the agency’s mission, vision, and values.
- Perform routine maintenance on the building's interior and exterior.
- Contact and schedule vendors and contractors for necessary building repairs and emergencies that are outside the scope of routine maintenance with approval from the Director of Maintenance.
- Maintain a schedule of when maintenance has been performed and when the next service is due.
- Work safely and recognize unsafe situations. Take appropriate action to ensure the safety of themselves and others in the building.
- Communicate with co-workers, management, clients, and others courteously and professionally.
- Contribute to and maintain a healthy and productive work environment.
- Report all egregious situations to the Facility Administrator and/or Management staff.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- As a mandated reporter ensure all allegations of abuse and neglect are reported as required.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1 – 3 years’ building maintenance experience.
- An equivalent combination of education and experience is considered.
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written.

Physical Requirements
- Frequent walking, standing, stooping and kneeling.

- Operates general office equipment, including multi-line phone, fax machine, printer, copier, and personal computer.
Work Environment
- Work occurs in multiple environments including, but not limited to, offices, kitchen, storage area, parking lots, yards, gardens, and attics.
Working Conditions:
This role involves working in a residential or community-based setting, which may include evenings, weekends, and holidays.
The work environment may involve a variety of physical activities, including standing, walking, and assisting individuals with mobility or personal care tasks.
