Law Firm Case Manager

Responsibilities:- Aid attorneys with all aspects of case management, including billing, docketing deadlines, and providing reminders as requested
- Review legal documents to ensure adherence to all legal requirements
- Draw up legal documents for attorney review
- Consult with attorneys and provide recommendations with regard to cost and time-effective ways to accomplish the client’s goals
- Manage, update, and organize all case files and information with regard to engagement, whether electronic or paper, in accordance with firm policies
- A 2-year degree and Paralegal certification are acceptable, but a Bachelor’s degree is preferred - High school diploma is required
- Case management process experience is needed - preferably in employment law, or other plaintiff-side work such as personal injury.
- Effective organizational and communication skills, both written and oral, are a must.
- The ability to follow detailed company procedures and provide accurate and thorough documentation throughout the lifecycle of a case.
- Great customer service skills and the ability to provide an exceptional client experience.
- An organized self-starter with the ability to effectively manage multiple matters at once.
- Proficient in word processing, spreadsheet presentation, and case management software.
- Legal research and legal drafting experience are critical.
- A desire to learn and understand California Employment law.
