Job Summary:

The Financial Planning and Analysis Manager will play a pivotal role in delivering comprehensive planning and analysis for Retail operations. This position involves providing executive-level decision support to the Executive Team by developing processes, tools, reports, and conducting complex data analysis to enhance business processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the preparation of monthly management reporting packages for the Retail P&L, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
  • Collaborate with various business partners across the company, focusing on Store Operations, to drive business growth and improvement.
  • Facilitate the annual budgeting and monthly forecasting processes, including creating templates to increase efficiency and productivity.
  • Perform variance analysis and provide key driver commentary for all supported areas, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Evaluate current business and system processes to identify opportunities for improvement, implementing changes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Participate actively in problem-solving initiatives, including root cause analysis, gap analysis, and the development and implementation of process improvement recommendations.
  • Assist Senior Management with ad hoc budgeting, reporting, and analysis tasks, providing expert financial guidance.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (MBA preferred), or equivalent work experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in an FP&A role, with a strong understanding of Financial Statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flows).
  • Experience in Retail or Consumer Products preferred, with excellent written and verbal communication skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel, with the ability to analyze complex data and present findings effectively.
