The Account Manager is responsible for the performance of the branch’s utilization, risk mitigation, and new dealer leads. The Account Manager will be expected to be outside of the office visiting dealer customers, auctions, and other industry partners a minimum of 70% of the time.


Essential Job Functions:

  • Identifies potential risks by analyzing data, observing processes, and talking to dealers.
  • Follows policies and procedures to identify and address risks in the branch.
  • Develops and maintains positive relationships with existing and potential clients.
  • Calls current customers to generate leads, establish appointments, complete line increase applications, gather required documents for loans, and other necessary functions related to the utilization process.
  • Visits customer base frequently to better understand their needs to increase their unit counts and utilization.
  • Provides superior customer service.
  • Develops strong relationships with current dealer customers, auctions, other financial institutions, and other industry connections.
  • Builds brand awareness to auction partners and dealers.
  • Provides the Sales Team with potential new dealer leads.
  • Provides updates on collection accounts to Compliance Department.
  • Performs repossession and collections efforts including, but not limited to, physically repossessing vehicles, completing condition reports, and assisting in the sale of the vehicles.
  • Maintains knowledge of existing laws and regulations related to the organizations industry; assesses how requirements may affect the organization in terms of risk exposure.
  • Must maintain a working knowledge of policies, basic title laws, and procedures.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.


Requirements:
  • Two (2) years automotive or financial service industry.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience in the automotive finance industry or consumer/commercial lending industry.
  • Drive for long periods of time; maintain a clean driving record with a valid driver’s license.
  • Ability to work in all weather conditions for extended periods of time.
  • Bi-lingual is beneficial.
  • Self-motivated and strong drive to succeed.
  • Ability to multi-task and highly organized.
  • Ability to problem solve.
