Position Summary

The key responsibility of this position is to promote Spectrum Vascular (SV) products through the education of current and potential external customers, providing them with clinical education and technical support. This position will encompass case coverage, follow-up, support, troubleshooting, customer service and education. Ensures the optimal application and use of all Spectrum Vascular products while developing clinical education offerings and support services to reinforce best clinical practices.

Responsibilities

▪ Responsible for understanding and demonstrating proper use of SV product lines and best practices. Provides guidance and standardization of in-service materials, proper usage techniques, in-service training aides, clinical updates.

▪ Act as a clinical resource for the commercial organization.

o Provide clinical guidance for product development and market research.

o Report and make recommendations for new product refinements based on customer needs as well as competitive information.

o Include development/revision of promotional brochures, videos, clinical instruction guides, sales training aides, and troubleshooting guides.

o Develop, implement, track, report, and act upon increased efficiency metrics for the Clinical Team.

▪ Provide clinical support at trade shows and national conventions and participate as an educational speaker on request.

▪ Develop, implement and manage appropriate outcomes programs, models and services to enhance/quantify total value offering for current and new product and service offerings.

▪ Provides telephone support for customers and field-based associates. Coordinate, direct, and deliver customer and employee training programs.

▪ Performs ongoing assessment of customers' needs and problems as identified through call reports, input from field-based clinical specialists and training on-site.

▪ Document and provide written solutions to recurring problems, including input for variation of training tools and provision of training.

▪ Analyzes regional customer needs and trends. Participates in a multidisciplinary team environment to assess customer needs, provide support, and issues.

▪ Provides detailed input/feedback to the Product Management Team to recommend changes in product design, manufacturing, quality based on information gathered in the field.

▪ Attends internal/external education meetings and reads appropriate professional journals to maintain and enhance skills and clinical competency.

▪ Educates and trains physicians, hospital personnel and office staff on technical matters relating to products and therapies. This is achieved by coordinating: one on one sessions, in-service education programs, seminars and/or outside symposiums.

▪ Must maintain a valid driver's license.

▪ May perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

▪ RT, RN, PA, CCP or similar clinical credentialing is required.

▪ 5+ years of demonstrated experience in clinical setting within vascular products highly preferred

Skills/Knowledge

▪ Ability to assess customer needs and market trends within the context of product and business capabilities and the ability to translate this assessment into a workable strategy.

▪ Strong, demonstrated expertise in product and therapy knowledge.

▪ Ability to interact professionally and effectively with customers, physicians, nurses and other technical medical staff.

▪ Able to work in a collaborative environment to deliver training and support programs and documentation.

▪ Assess customer needs, market trends, and competition within the context of product and business capabilities and the ability to translate this assessment into a training strategy.

▪ Ability to diagnose, understand, and solve complex system issues.

▪ Ability to effectively communicate technical material in a non-technical manner.

▪ Microsoft Suite proficiency

▪ Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills (written and verbal).

▪ Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance, instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
