Job description:

A highly motivated Engineer to own the plasma etch process area to drive continuous improvement. The employee will perform daily sustaining activities and projects to improve productivity, yield, and optimization to support manufacturing operations.

Education/Experience Requirements

  • Candidates should have a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physics or related engineering degree.
  • Minimum of 3 years of Engineering experience in Deposition or Plasma Etch Process within the Photomask, Semiconductor, or Electronics industry.
  • Hands-on process and equipment experience working on Dry Etch tools from Applied Material Tetra/DPS-II and Plasma-Therm.
  • Quality systems (CP, FMEA, 8D, etc.)
  • Excellent diagnostic and troubleshooting skills for process/equipment interactions.
  • Working knowledge and practical experience with SPC, DOE and statistical analysis.
  • Mature data analysis skills using tools such as JMP, Minitab, Spotfire and Excel.
  • Computer programming skills are a plus.

  • Be a self-starter with great attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Must be able to manage and prioritize multiple tasks/projects at the same time.
  • Likes being in the cleanroom doing hands-on work for a significant part of the workday.
  • Excellent diagnostic and troubleshooting skills for process/equipment interactions.
  • Experience in problem-solving methods.
  • Working knowledge and practical experience with SPC, DOE and statistical hypothesis testing.
  • Mature data analysis skills using tools such as JMP, Minitab, Spotfire and Excel.
