Job Overview

Lithography Engineer I

The selected candidate will engage in engineering responsibilities related to the photomask production process. This role involves collaboration with operational teams to enhance manufacturing efficiency. Key responsibilities include overseeing process inputs, equipment, and outputs while executing improvement strategies to optimize production (ensuring high utilization and minimal cycle time) while adhering to quality standards.

The individual will work closely with operations, maintenance, and facilities teams to achieve objectives. Responsibilities also encompass identifying and documenting best practices and establishing standard operating procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct equipment maintenance tasks, including troubleshooting electromechanical systems and performing preventative maintenance on lithography machinery.
  • Analyze telemetry parameters and performance metrics to assist in developing strategies aimed at improving yield and throughput.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in an Engineering discipline or Chemistry/Physics is preferred; a Master's degree is a plus.
  • A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in semiconductor (wafer or photomask) environments.
  • Familiarity with Statistical Process Control (SPC), data management, and analysis techniques.
  • Understanding of Quality systems (CP, FMEA, 8D, etc.).

Skills Required:

  • Proficiency with digital voltmeters and oscilloscopes.
  • Knowledge of electromechanical schematics.
  • Capability to work autonomously and collaboratively within teams.
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret data and formulate actionable plans.
  • Experience in root cause analysis and problem resolution.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Technical writing experience is advantageous.
  • Ability to provide technical support and guidance.
  • Familiarity with MS Office Suite.
  • Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) programming skills are preferred.
