The Director of Operations serves as a key company leader and member of the Senior Leadership Team of BPA Health, collaborating with the Medical Director to ensure clinical excellence throughout the entire suite of services offered. The position is based in Boise, Idaho.


How you will make an impact in this role:

•Drive and assist in the design of strategic plans and management of enterprise-wide initiatives, pilots, and projects promoting quality care and service delivery

•Direct and oversee innovation initiatives, data analysis activities, and evaluation strategies

•Maintain knowledge of innovative evidence-based practices and apply creative solutions to challenges

•Build alliances across the leadership team to ensure a collaborative, efficient, and viable operating model

•Support cost management projects through analysis of expenses to determine savings for both proposed and implemented initiatives

•Work to create solutions to access challenges

•Hire, train, coach, counsel, evaluate the performance of and develop the Operations team


The focus and key result for the Director of Operations is service delivery. They are responsible for developing and managing all benefit plans to maximize patient experience and health while reducing overall cost of behavioral health conditions and care. The successful candidate possesses expertise, direct experience with and understanding of the provider network management core processes that results in a high-quality, high-performing provider network program. They collaborate with Medical and Clinical Leadership to achieve thought leadership and expertise in care delivery and placement decisions.

Requirements:



Minimum education requirements:

· Requires education in health and human services field (i.e. public health, social work, nursing, counseling) and a minimum of 10 years of experience in clinical and/or behavioral health setting, either provider or payer; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background. Master’s degree a plus.

· Current unrestricted Independent Clinical or Behavioral Health licensure preferred, but not required.


Preferred experience:

· 5 years leadership experience preferred

· Provider Network Management experience preferred

· Knowledge of Idaho behavioral health market, trends and related issues preferred

· Experience with quality management programs, accreditation programs, and/or quality management certification preferred

· Experience working with healthcare providers, clients and other managed care stakeholders preferred

· Demonstrated capabilities coaching and developing staff preferred

· Experience successfully implementing and integrating EOS within an organization preferred

· Proficient with MS Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
